I was in the midst of making a mix-cd when iTunes shuffled to this. Funny how I’ve had it for years but never listened to it. I really must stop this habit of abandoning albums half-way. Otherwise, I’d be missing such breathtaking songs like this.

& I have plans to return to Borders to get American Gods. I was gonna get it too but I was low on funds. That, plus I still have yet to complete Generation Kill (saving it for school) & hey! I have this new book to read! Still still still… new book next week, yes.

There’s something about demos that’s so beautiful to me. It must be all the rough/raw feel that’s singing arrows straight through the heart. The obvious showcase that, no, songs are not born polished– there’s that dirt to hide. That strive to perfection. That need to prove and please.

Oh what the hell am I going on about? I don’t know. The imminent start to school marks the impending end to what life I have. I’m far from looking forward to sad&miserable that’s about to knock on my door. Three more days. Three more days. This indescribable feeling is overwhelming. If I’m not mistaken, Green Day’s gonna hold a gig at the Singapore Indoor Stadium mid-Jan next year. I’d go except for these few reasons:

1) It’s about 120+ for pit tickets
2) I’m not really a fan of their latest album
3) It’s in the middle of my last sem

So yeah. I think I’m gonna pass.

The concept of balance seems to escape me.

Ah well, until I find a compromise, I have a favour to ask: I know this song is highly overrated but I love it so. It makes me feel lost in the good way. So my task for you is to plug in your earphones or blast it out on high (no in-betweens, that’s the way we’re rolling today), lay on your hard floor and stare at your ceiling.

Seems like a stupid thing do but it’s my favourite way of listening to the song; letting the dripping beat and chilling lyrics soak heavyslowsex into heated skin. I’d close my eyes to the pulse but my mind tends to pull out uncomfortable memories. So yeah, eyes wide open.
